Iphone My First Love for Cell Phone |
It took me about 2 weeks after release to decide to buy an iPhone. My initial hesitation had to do with negative experiences with 1st generation computer gear (because of bugs). What I have found since I first unboxed my iPhone is that it breaks not only the mold on computer gear but it is an excellent and remarkable product with huge additional potential -- based on the fact that as a product it is more than 50% software that makes it what it is.
Those who belittle the appeal of the thing have not the slightest clue of what it is. I have great admiration for what Apple represents in the computer, software, entertainment and now communications industries. They have consistently delivered products that are superior and copied in short order. If you want the real thing, check it out in erson. If you want to follow, wait until a poor and buggy imitation is released way later by others. But if you are doing a real comparison -- include a personal review of the instruments themselves -- don't take someone's word for it. Iphone buzz aside, the real story about APPL future earnings is in their other products and innovative perspective. The Iphone neither makes or breaks Apple Inc. How about al little hard work and reporting on the new iMac line that is to be announced tomorrow, How about some news on the new rumored iPod, which everyone knows will sooner or later have the same touch screen as the iPhone at a lower price? Do your homework and stop writing articles that are 90% quotes of other columnists work. Iphone's impact on the broader cell phone market is getting a lot of press. Perhaps more than it deserves, given the demographic it sampled. |
