Cialis is the brand name of the generic Tadalafil and is now produced and marketed by Eli Lilly and company. It is the third male impotency drug launched in 2003 after Sildenafil (Viagra) and Vardenafil (Levitra). So men with the above conditions shouldn’t go for tadalafil before all those conditions tested, evaluated, diagnosed and stabilized first. Doctors need to determine if the patients with heart diseases have enough heart reserves left to carry out and sustain the sexual tension during intercourse and may recommend treadmill testing.
Tadalafil takes almost more than 2 days to clear out (metabolize) from the body. Metabolism of Cialis can be slowed down by kidney disease, liver disease, and simultaneous usage of anti fungal medicines like ketoconazole, erythromycin. Slowed breakdown makes it possible for tadalafil to stay longer and thereby increasing the risk of side effects.
